Coggle is a site operated by CoggleIt Limited registered in England and Wales No. 9030487. In this document the terms “we” and “us” refer to CoggleIt Limited. Coggle is a trademark of CoggleIt Limited and is a registered trademark in the United States and EU.
The materials contained on our site do not claim to be or constitute legal or other professional advice and shall not be relied upon as such.
We take reasonable measures to ensure our site is reliably available, but we will not be liable if our site is unavailable at any time.
The site itself and the information on it are protected by copyright laws and treaties worldwide.
We own and reserve all intellectual property rights to the site itself, except where stated.
The rights to other information uploaded to the site, such as the contents of Coggle documents, are owned by the creator or rights holder for that information. By uploading information you warrant that you have necessary licenses and permissions from the rights holders of that information to do so.
You grant us all the necessary licenses and permissions to store, process, and transmit any information that you upload to Coggle, and to share that information with others as instructed by you.
For information that you add to public Coggle diagrams you also grant us all the necessary licenses and permissions to make that information publicly available.
You must not use Coggle to upload illegal, defamatory, offensive, or obscene content, and you must not use Coggle to store or process other people's personal information. Any information that is found to have been inappropriately uploaded to Coggle may be removed without notice.
The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law we expressly exclude all liabilities.
We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy (available at https://coggle.it/privacy).
While we aim to make Coggle a safe any useful tool for anyone, Coggle is not designed for unsupervised use by children. Any use by children should be under the supervision, guidance and consent of their parents, guardians, or authorized school officials.
Depending on your jurisdiction additional regulations may apply regarding the use of Coggle by children. You are responsible for complying with any such regulations.
We have no control and accept no responsibility for the content of links to sites or resources provided by third parties.
If you decide to subscribe to a paid plan you will be billed monthly (or yearly for yearly plans) at or around the same time of the month as you signed up. You can cancel at any time and your subscription will continue until the end of your current billing period. In some circumstances (for example non-payment, misuse of the service, or otherwise) we may cancel your subscription or disable your account.
If you choose to close a Coggle Organisation you are responsible for downloading or exporting your data before closing your account.
Private data is encrypted at rest, and encrypted between our servers and your browser. We will notify you if we become aware of any breach of the confidentiality of your private data that we store.
Coggle is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Ireland. We store a backup copy of data in AWS in London, and may introduce additional locations in the future to improve our service.
The English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site.
We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page.
