Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action.

Passive

Future perfect continuous ✏ S + will have + been + being + V3

Past continuous ✏ S + was/were + being + V3

Active

Present continuous ✒ S + V. to be + Ving

Form of Passive

Past perfect ✒ S + had + V3

Present perfect continuous ✏ S + have/has + been + being + V3

Present simple ✒ S + V1 (s,es)

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following

Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)

Past perfect continuous ✏ S + had + been + being + V3

Present perfect ✒ S + have/has + V3

Future perfect ✒ S + will + have + V3

Present perfect continuous ✒ S + have/has + been + Ving

Present simple ✏ S + is/am/are + V3

Future perfect ✏ S + will + have been + V3

Future continuous ✒ S + will + be + Ving

Future simple ✒ S + will + V1

Future perfect continuous ✒ S + will have + been + Ving

Past simple ✒ S + V2

the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)

Present continuous ✏ S + is/am/are + being + V3

Past perfect ✏ S + had + been + V3

Past continuous ✒ S + was/were + Ving

Past perfect continuous ✒ S + had + been + Ving

Future continuous ✏ S + will + be + being + V3

Future simple ✏ S + will + be + V3

the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence
(or is dropped)

the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence

Past simple ✏ S + was/were + V3

Present perfect ✏ S + have/has+ been + V3
