A2 Music video Final Cut Product
Disparity between left and right split screens at start in video quality- By the time we realised it was too late for any changes. If we had more time then we would have refilmed the left split screen shots.
Timing off on lead singer in performance element- Singer stopped singing halfway through song so we couldn't time it exactly or the singer wouldn't be singing when we needed him.
Good build up to the climax of the video.
Like the story line and the two separate narratives.
Good use of the effect where the camera hit the floor and bounced up- reversing effect in performance element.
Like the performance element.
Good shots and framing.
Good effects.
Couple of framing issues- had to keep downloading product from the cuts we uploaded to youtube because the Macs stopped working and we lost our product. This meant we couldn't change the black bars we had already put on before uploading to Youtube.
Split screen at end looks cheesy and may not fit- We are making the success of both characters clear and obvious as this expresses the themes and the whole idea of the music video.
We could import more short shots when there's the heartbeat, with the shots getting shorter until the gunshot sounding the start of the race and the chorus is heard.
